Boy Scouts of America programs at the Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum teach the value of civic knowledge and engagement and encourage Scouts to be actively involved in the democratic process. The partnership between the Boy Scouts of America and the Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum builds on Dwight D. Eisenhower's commitment to civic education.
All scouts visiting in uniform get FREE admission to the Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum. If visiting as a troop, one adult per every five scouts receives free admission with advance reservations.
The following programs are available:
Citizenship in the Nation Merit Badge
The Library hosts a Citizenship in the Nation Merit Badge workshop several times during the school year.
Maximum number of Scouts per workshop: 24 on a first come-first served basis. At minimum of ten scouts must register to hold the workshop.
The workshop runs from 8:15 am until 3:00 pm and is held in the Museum classroom on the Eisenhower campus.
For those interested in camping at Brown Memorial Camp before or after the workshop, contact the BSA Coronado Council for additional information and reservations.
